Cookie

A small file a website asks your browser to store, which the browser sends back with each subsequent request to that site. Boznaw uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect the session.

Local storage

A larger store in your browser that a site can read and write, but which is never sent to a server automatically. Boznaw uses it to remember your interface preferences and to hold unsent drafts.

Session storage

The same as local storage, but cleared when you close the tab. Boznaw does not currently use it.

Tracking pixel or web beacon

A tiny invisible image used to record that a page or email was opened. Boznaw uses none.

All of these are essential: the Services cannot keep you signed in securely without them, so they are set when you sign in rather than being optional.

Boznaw sets no cookie for advertising, measurement, personalisation or cross-site identification, and permits no third party to set one through the Services.

These items are stored by your browser and are never transmitted automatically. They exist so the interface stays the way you left it, and so a half-written post survives a reload.

Two third parties are contacted by your browser while you use Boznaw. Neither sets a cookie through the Services, but both receive the information any web request carries.

If you would rather your browser did not contact Google for fonts, blocking fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com leaves Boznaw fully usable — the interface falls back to your system typeface.

India has no equivalent of the EU ePrivacy Directive, which is the law that produces cookie consent banners. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 governs the processing of personal data, and requires consent for processing that is not covered by a legitimate use — it does not impose a separate consent requirement for every cookie.

Because Boznaw sets only strictly essential cookies, and no advertising, analytics or tracking technology of any kind, there is nothing here for a consent banner to obtain consent for. We show a short, dismissible storage notice on first visit instead, pointing at this page.

• Clear preference storage from inside Boznaw. Settings → Account & security → Reset data clears the stored interface state on this device.
• Delete everything. Settings → Account & security → Delete account removes your account and clears local storage on this device. See the Account & Data Deletion Policy.
• Use your browser. Every major browser lets you view, block and clear cookies and site data for a specific site, usually under Privacy or Site settings.
• Block the font request with your browser or an extension, as described in Section 5.

This Policy is updated whenever a cookie or storage item is added, removed or changed. The tables above are generated from the application's own configuration, so a change in the code is reflected here rather than drifting out of date.
